Nikon NIKKOR 50mm F1.2 AIS Manual Focus Lens VS Zeiss Planar T* 50mm F1.4 ZF.2

ive never used the nikon 1.2 but i own the zeiss 50mm 1.4 and it is an amazing lens. so sharp, the build quality is amazing and it just produces such a great image.
 
depends which way your other glass spins

personally I have nikkor 1.4 and prefer it to the 1.2 - which I have as well - focus is too rough on my copy

NIKKOR 50mm F1.2 AIS is good if you can get a good used copy. That extra f stop always helpful.
 
I have a Nikon 50mm 1.2 and love it on my D7000 (yes we shoot video on a Nikon!) If you can get a clean used version it would be a solid lens and investment. Both options you noted are nice I personally like the look of the Nikon and it matches my other vintage Nikons (24mm f2.8, 85mm f2, 105mm f2.5). I'm still looking for a 35mm I'm not pleased with my Nikon options might get the Samyang 35mm 1.4.
