Nikon Lens of AF100 doesn't work?

I have an old black Nikon F (1973). It has the Nikon 55mm f1.2 and I also have a couple of other lenses that fit it. The Vivitar 35mm f2.8 and a Tokina 50-200mm f4.0.

I bought a Nikon F to micro 4/3 mount.

The first thing I did was to try it on my GH2 as soon as I got the mount (because it was quickly available). EVERY lens work perfect. Very simple, very easy. Screw on lens, turn on camera and focus. ALL MANUAL. I Love it.

Me not thinking twice about it, I figured, if it works on the GH2 it'll work on the AF100.

Then I tried it on the AF 100. Nothing but black. Put the Lumix lens back on... got an image. Put the Nikon lens back on... Black - nothing.

I did a quick search in the manual and a very quick search on this site for answers.

WHAT AM I DOING WRONG. Is it a setting? Sorry I didn't research this more myself but I figured someone hear could slap me around a bit and fix it for me.

Anyone?

I'm going to mess with it some more.
