Is there anyway when using manual nikon lens and viewing on LCD to be able to zoom in (ala the Canon 5D Mark II) to focus?

Any help is much appreciated.....

Click the left button on the keypad. A yellow frame appears. Click 'Menu/OK' on middle of keypad. Viola! Zoomed in. Use front dial wheel to zoom in one step more and out again. Click dial wheel or 'Menu/OK' to get back to normal. You can move around the zoomed in area with the keypad up/down-left/right key, before or after you've zoomed in. All in the manual on page 80 btw.

that was quick. I just found the answer in another post and was coming back to delete this.

Thanks for the info.

You are quick!

Hey jfro, what adapter are you using to mount your Nikon lenses? I've seen several and am wary of getting a lousy one on eBay. If yours is decently made, could you tell me which one it is?

Well, just to be clear, I'm not jfro, but I'm using some cheap Chinese made adapter and it seems fine. There's no wiggle and everything fits nicely. Also the flange distance is pretty accurately set so I get infinity and the distance marks on my lenses are usable.

The most desirable one is probably the novoflex one, which I read from another poster here that it has a plunger to set aperture on Nikon G lenses and the like. However it's about €150!
