Nikon D90 video vs Canon VIXIA camcorders

Well I have been confused on what you guys think has better video quality and functionality? I already sold my Nikon D90 to buy the Panasonic GH1 but I recently bumped into the Canon VIXIA HG20 and am wondering if I should buy that instead of the Panasonic GH1.. I could always buy a regular SLR and buy the Canon VIXIA but I don't know which will preform better..:crybaby: help?

For video stick with a camcorder....

If your a pseudo hollywood filmmaker and need that shallow DOF get a D90....the cost is the same as those crappy dof adapters....
