Nikon D90 short film test

I was working on a short film with a friend and I grabbed these images with my D90 in between setups...

I cut it together and added some music... It is not in the proper order and I only have some scenes from the crazy house... so it may seem real disjointed... But this is a test and only a test. If this had been an actual test, the Emergency broadcasting system would have warned you..

Pretty funny stuff.
I think the close-ups were a bit excessive. Could have used some wider shots in there.
And I had a good laugh towards the end when he's running down the stares and falls flat on his face, then gets up to jump over something and falls on his face again. Fantastic.:)

it is selective focus on most of the shots.. I used a 35mm F1.4 lens at 1.4 so the DOF is very shallow....

The actual short was shot with two HVX200's.

This is just stuff I grabbed with the Nikon... We have dolly shots, pans, crane shots in the final footage...

Plus the compression does not do it justice.. Looks great on my HD TV.

It is almost impossible to do a handheld follow focus with this camera. Because of the jello effect.

This camera needs to be locked down and not moved to get really good usable footage...
