Nikon D90 film

Huh? Where'd the color come from?

Huh? Where'd the color come from?

You said that the purple came from H.264 encoding, but I'm not sure I follow you. From the way you phrased it, I wasn't sure if it was intentional, but I figure you must be happy with it since you posted it to Vimeo. But then the last 20 seconds or so were slightly warm: color balance set to daylight, but lit by tungsten.

Is there a dialogue box that I'm missing somewhere regarding color temperature?

the uncompressed version is blue not purple
clor balance set 3800k and lit with fresnels with 3 1/2 ctbs and 1 effect nile blue most of the time
Don´t know why, but when encoding it cast a purple in the image.

Very nice! It looks like those handheld shots went just fine with minimal (I only saw one instance, and probably wouldn't have were I not looking for it...) rolling shutter skewing. Did you have any glaring issues regarding rolling shutter?

not really
i think rolling shutter is not so glaring in this video.
it´s there but normal people doesn´t note so much.
The story and cinematography is still there and not so impaired by the rolling shutter.
If you don´t use pan movimento you can get a good result.

Lens used was Zeiss zf 35mm , 50 mm, 85mm, 100mm
Not that the vr nikon kit lens are bad, used the zeiss zf for the manual iris.

Almost all shots are used wide open iris.
