I am finally selling my D90. I really don't want to but I feel the time is right to do so.
I received this wonderful camera as a Christmas present in 2009 and it has served me very well ever since. I took the 18-135mm lens off my D80 and put it on the D90 because I like it's range the best. This is the lens I am including with the camera for you. It's an 18-135 zoom f3.5-5.6. I think the contacts need to be cleaned, because occasionally the camera just reads "f--" for a moment when I attach the lens to the body. The issue doesn't happen with any other lens and even when it does it's only for a moment.
I am also including a Nikon Vertical Shutter Battery Grip. This adds a secondary shutter release to the body of the camera, as well as allowing the camera to utilize 2 rechargable Nikon batteries or 6 AA batteries. The original Nikon battery charger is included as well.
In addition to the battery grip, you will also get a Nikon PC Sync Adapter (for utilizing studio flashes), and a Nikon IR Remote.
I mentioned in the title that it's a complete timelapse animation kit. This is made possible by the addition of the PClix unit. The PClix unit is a small, battery powered intravalometer that takes individual frames at whatever interval you desire. The unit will last nearly 2 months on one AA battery. I have shot several timelapse movies with this setup and they always turn out wonderfuly. You can see an example of one of the movies here: http://vimeo.com/606771
Also included with the camera are several SanDisc Extreme III 2 GB and 1 GB SD cards and a metal holder. A 4 Stop ND filter for the 18-135mm is included as well.
The tripod included is a Feisol CT-3442 set of Carbon Fiber legs and a PhotoClam PC-40NS ball head. There is an extendable center column on the tripod, which can be removed if needed. I also have a really nice tripod plate from Really Right Stuff attached to the D90 which fits great into this tripod. There is also a Gitzo G532 Side Arm, which is very useful for doing copy-stand work or macro shooting on tabletops. I also have the carrying case for the tripod.
Altogether, this setup is worth at least $2000 if it were purchased new. I am asking $1100 but will consider reasonable offers as well. I would imagine that the whole setup can be shipped for around $25 or so via UPS, so if you're not local, that will be added to the price.
Call Carleton at 619-890-5452 to arrange a pickup if you are located in San Diego, CA. Don't PM me because my mailbox is full. You can also email me at Karl151k AT Yahoo DOT com. Price is $1100 OBO.
