Nikon D7000 pixel size vs. Canon MKII

I read on www.fdtimes.com that the pixels on the D7000 sensor are 4.78 microns. I also read on a few posts that the pixels on the MKII were around 6.3 microns, although no valid confirmation. Im curious is anyone has any thoughts on this? perhaps confirm the pixel size on the MKII. Ive always been a nikon guy and would love a DSLR to compliment my EX1R until I can afford the Sony F3.

thanks in advance.

Billy,
I would look at the features of each of the cameras and compare lots of footage to see what works for you. I wouldn't get too caught up in arbitrary technical jargon. Pixel size isn't going to really matter, it's what will actually work for you. I have had great video and still images coming from my 5D and am completely happy with it. The Nikon looks like a wonderful camera too. If you're a Nikon guy, I would say go with the Nikon.
