This is an outstanding camera that takes both excellent ultra high definition pictures (24 megapixels) and excellent True HD video. This is also one of the few cameras that has a swing out and rotatable view screen. Among several reasons you'll love this if you need to stretch your hands up to take a photo or video over a crowd or under an object. It does take RAW pictures as well as JPG. The Nikon RAW software is included.
Low shutter count at 2918 as of 5/5/13. I've had this camera for about 6 months and love it, but I'm upgrading. For $625 I'll include the D5200, an SD memory card, and extra battery and a battery grip! Read below about the lens. The grip holds two batteries so you can take tons of pictures without worry. This is Pro camera in many ways. Built in flash, or it has a hot shoe if you want to add a flash unit.
You'll really love the hand grip as it makes it much easier to hold the camera both vertically and horizontally. The grip button can be configured to activate the shutter when turned on it's side. The sale also includes the body cap, neck strap, original cables, and Nikon software.
Make it a total of $700 and I'll include the kit 18-55mm VR lens. Plus, when you buy the camera and lens together and I'll throw in a third battery and a charger! The lens includes front and rear lens caps. (VR means vibration reduction. It's an image stabilization system similar to Canon's OIS. To sell the lens separately is $100.)
B&H sells the camera and lens for $800, add on the grip, card and extra batteries its a $900 value. http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/910170-REG/nikon_1503_d5200_digital_slr_camera.html
