Happy New Year to everybody, and may 2011 be a wonderful year for you all.
I just got a Nikon D7000 and love it. I want to hook it up to my laptop to view the images or video AS I'm shooting. For this, I'm using Nikon Camera Control Pro 2 software.
For some reason, the laptop (Windows7) via the Control Pro program, will NOT "see" the camera.
At first I thought it may be a compatibility issue with Windows7 so I also tried it with my desktop which has WindowsXP, but that did not work either. So, then I thought maybe it was because the camera was so new, so I tried all of this again with my Nikon D3X camera, and the software would not see it either.
Here's the real puzzle: On the laptop I had also already installed Nikon View NX, and that program DOES "see" the D7000. So if it sees it, why won't Nikon Camera Control Pro 2 ??
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
