Nikon AI Lens to GH1?

I just purchased a GH1 and also a Kipon Nikon to m4/3 adapter from Adorama. The GH1 constantly says "Please Check that the lens is attached correctly". Is there a way to change menu settings to tell the camera "Never mind" or is there another reliable adapter?
I checked older posts and couldn't find relevant stuff but would appreciate a url if my question has already been answered.
 
Yes, there is a setting at the bottom of one of the menus that says shoot w/o lens. I think that you might have to be in still photo mode to change that setting.

You really should consider making a habit out of reading the manual, or at least using the search function of Adobe Reader on the PDF of the manual.
