It seems reading the article that it suggests the leak was the previous week and that now we have confirmation of what is coming and specific dates. Haven't found another source yet but haven't looked really. The website is from a tabloid newspaper but the paper is a mainstream one read by millions so its not some guy on a blog somewhere.

Of course if it is definitely true it will be released in two weeks time!
 
The "Nikon Look" is what keeps me from buying another camera until Nikon releases their next offering. I am totally willing to be patient, I think it is worth it!

haha, your nickname suits you well. if you don't know the anwer to that question perhaps you should be selling or making cameras rather than using them? the world doesn't need another artist without vision but there seems to be an endless demand for pixel counting clerks. ;-)

Well this time I am going to wait for the early footage from others and see if they really have fixed all the video stuff that's broke or not implemented on the D90. I sure look forward to a Nikon HD camera that works properly and is full featured...

but seriously, I am not as confident in Nikon as I once was after a go round with the D90... and I wont be tempted by the hype:bath:

Don't forget the d90 video was always a tagged on extra and were the first out because DSLR makers found they could put video on just beacuse they could due to hardware changes. I couldn't imagine Nikon now wouldn't have developed the video function to compete with Canon.

ya very true... but also the HD video on the 5D was touted as an extra too and wasnt relesed that long after. Nikon also released the D5000 with the same video mode many months later and didnt change a thing. I agree that they sure could be sorting things out... I hope they are :)

LOL, guilty as charged! I haven't a creative bone in my body.

I forgot to put a smiley face next to my question too. I had meant it as an "affectionate jibe".

So, instead of "overcompressed softiness", how about "organic dreaminess"? :cheesy:
