Nikon 14-24 with MTF?

It might originally have an electronic aperture ... but using the MTF adapter you avoid the F-stop clicks ... works great ... is about a 21-35 mm ... we use the 3 lenses ...
14-24 F2.8, 24-70 F2.8 and 70-200 F2.8 ... for that price ... under 4000 Euro ... bargain ...

MTF enables manual iris control of all G type ( no iris) Nikon Lenses. Nikon uses a different method than Canon and there is a mechanical way to grab the iris ring, so no need for a Birger type solution. Its a little wanky but it does work.

HD Studio Belgium - Do you find it pretty easy to use all those G lenses in run & gun situations, or is the MTF iris controller difficult. I bought all the Nikon's with Iris- 17-35, 28-70, & 80-200 and the combo of iris ring and MTF work well tho a little confusing. I wouldn't mind having more Wide reach in the 28 -70 though.

If you find "F ring" Nikon lenses confusing with MTF adapter on F3, "G" lenses will be even more "tricky" as you will not know what is your working F stop...

I don't really care that much what my working f stop is, but its not taht ahrd to have a rough idea.
The confusing thing with the F lenses is that if you don't close the f stop ring then you can't control the f stop with the MTF ring so the 2 rings are working counter intuitively. Only an issue in run and gun and I'm sure I'll finally grock it.
