Nikkor 135mm Aperture Broken...

I have an older manual focus Nikkor lens that I'd reeeeealllly love to fix.

The aperture ring/internal slide tab are unable to adjust the aperture at all. Luckily it's opened all the way and I stop down by other means.

I guess what I'm hoping for is a Nikkor guru that can instruct me on how to repair the thing.

Best,
LL

There must be a camera repair store in Lafayette. What you need is an old guy with half glasses on the end of his nose and a nice set of jeweler's tools. Shouldn't even cost that much.

Mine did the same thing. It had been on the shelf for a while. I haven't tried to get it fixed since my Canon 70-200 covers the range. I just hope it doesn't happen to another of my primes!

I bought my 105mm Nikkor to Photo Tech Repair, 110 East 13th St.
New York, NY 10003 212-673-8400
It cost me about $65 to de-stick the aperture. Good Luck.
