Good question. I manually corrected just once for the street area, and just let the color go to whatever when he wondered into the really dark areas.

Yes this test was for the big India shoot in October/December. As for carrying my bag... you're much to talented for that. Instead I will use you as our personal chef! Bring the Napoleon BBQ!

Nice test footage, I am laughing at your disclaimer though, it does seem like something is about to happen, lol. You start off knowing it's test footage then forget because he seems like he's about to be kidnapped or attacked.

Bgundu, do you think that you could get this result in terms of focus if you were using the camera viewfinder?

That all depends on what you feel makes this piece feels cinematic. It's hard to look through the view finder on the AF100 while you walk. That's why I prefer an external monitor for these type of shots. If you have the camera on a tripod makes focusing easier, but it's a different look. The best thing I can ever suggest is to experiment. Try different configurations and different environments. Whats best for me may not be whats good for you.

Hi Bob,
On my research wich camera I will purchase (AF100 or FS100) This is the softnes I am looking for! My compliments, one of the most filmic footage I saw…and it is beautiful nightfootage, that is very, very acceptable!
