Hey all, shot a project last weekend for the Fantastic Fest 2009 Bumper Competition (www.fantastcifest.com)! Filmed in Austin, Texas!
It was shot on my GH1 at 720p at a 50 shutter (for the most part). I have some canon FD lenses but we ended up just using the stock lens. It was about a 15hr shoot (which is nuts as it ended up being 34 seconds long haha).
The color correction was kind of extreme, made to look like an old 70's film print, but we didn't want to go to the extreme of a grindhouse looking film. It was a tight rope to walk.
Unfortunately the competition uses youtube for their videos (yuck!) so i'm not in love with how it looks there. I have a vimeo one as well that I will post for you to check out.
If you dig it, please rank it with some stars on the the site so we can hopefully win!
Thanks!
