NIGHT MISSION: A7s Full Moon Vid

i think this need to be just the surfing part with some proper music. make it into a music video. right now it looks like a porn flick. It has an intro that you just skip just to get to the good part...
 
No LUTs, I graded directly from the log. This was shot full-frame, no crop mode. And it is a porn vid. Camera porn, ie: a glorified test.
 
Is the banding because of the 8bit video + it being shot at night, or is it a function of vimeos compression?
 
I have noticed some greyscale banding/pixelation from the hdmi 8-bit out of the A7s on some other tests I did but it's surprisingly not bad. On this video none of that was present. The banding noticable in some of the sky shots is due to Vimeo compression and is not noticable on the ProRes 422 master.

I usually add Static dithering via AVIsynth for my 4:2:0 masters that go to Youtube. Cuts up that banding without adding noise to the scene that usually doesn't compress well.
