NIGHT FOR DAY - Differnet Q

Ok, I know this has been covered alot, and I have learned some good techniques for filming night for day, as well as how to make it look like night for day. But now I ask you, what are the best settings on the DVX to help aid me in the post-production manipulation of day into night?

I am filming my "night" scene right when the sun is more or less directly above us, Im not sure if maybe I should change my settings, or if I should use different apetures, or any techniques with aiding the post-pro day to night changing
