NFL 2007-2008 Thread

What was cool about Farve and the Packers on Saturday was that they were down by 14 like 7 minutes into the game, they kept it together though and didn't panic, the two fumbles from Grant were just bad breaks and they were lucky it happened early, Grant definetly made up for them. Matt "We want the ball and were going to score" Hasselbeck didn't look so hot after the Packers tied it up, actually the Seahawks in general looked bad all together, besides the first quarter.

Favre is pretty unshakeable. He seems to be like Elway that way. The game is just never over (certainly not in the first quarter). And man, is he on a roll. I'm from NYC, but I don't see the Giants having a chance in hell againt the Pack this weekend.

Yeah, thats going to definetly be a challenge for the Giants this weekend. I think it's all going to depend on Favre and how the Giants D plays, if they get pressure on him and force him to make mistakes than they got a real good shot. I got a feeling this is where Manning will have a bad game.

Pretty cool that the two championship games are going to be outside in the cold in January. That's football.

There is definetly something cool about watching football being played when its snowing, it just looks so awesome on TV.

The forecast for Green Bay is bitter cold, arctic temperatures! A high of 5, and a low of -8, with mild winds. According to Accuweather, that's a "feels like" temperature of -23!!! Twenty-three degrees below zero!

New England will have a balmy high of 28, and a low of 8, but with constant winds, making it feel well below zero. They even have a warning for the weather there on Sunday, "...extreme cold...dangerous for outdoor activities."

Now this is football! :Drogar-Dolar(DBG):

This is going to be one of the worst ass kickings the super bowl has ever seen. Thing of it this way... the Vikings kicked the **** out of the Giants and the Vikings sucked. What do you think the Patriots are going to do to them?

Great win for the Giants. But the Packers had their chances, and lost it. That last pass by Favre was desperate, when they weren't in a desperate situation. As a whole, the Giants kept up a balanced attack, while the Packers gave up on the run too quickly. And I'm starting to think it may be time for Favre to go...

Congrats to the Pats as well. It's their destiny this year, but if the Giants can play as consistent as they have recently, they will put up a fight and have a chance. Just that every indication is that we'll see another lopsided win, and I have to wonder how many people, outside of Giants die hards, think the Patriots won't win.

The Giants were at home. The Giants haven't lost on the road at all this season.

Favre messed up big time...

This is my take on it..

The Giants would continue to jam their D-Backs with the packer receivers, all you have to do is have Donald Driver/Jennings beat the D-Back and go deep and that's 20-25 yards/touchdown right there.

Why Favre would force it in that part of the field boggles the mind.
