SOLD NEXTO DI 500GB SDHC & CF Backup System - $275 w/free shipping CONUS

Still works great - I simply have no more use for it since moving away from cameras that use SDHC and Compact Flash cards.
It has built in SD and CF readers and backs up to an internal 500GB drive (with or without verification).

I have all the original packaging and accessories, as well as an additional external battery which takes over if the internal runs out of juice.
I also have a carrying case for it. The unit itself is in great cosmetic condition since I put it in the case the day I got it and only took out to take these photos.

Comes with everything seen in the photos - including usb adapter, esata cable, car charger, AC adapter, as well as the external battery and case.
Some of the accessories have never even been opened.

Asking $275 with free shipping anywhere in the continental US.

PM with any questions.

Sorry, I meant to put that in the description.

Model unit is ND2725.
I actually never once used the eSATA port (the cable is still unopened in the package).
It has a USB port also, which you can see in the picture.
Just plug it in via USB if you don't have eSATA and it will mount like any other external drive.

I have never done that myself - but seeing as the USB port says "USB OTG" I would assume so.
Let me check the manual and I'll get back to you.

Okay - looks like I spoke too soon.
The Nexto 2725 itself can be used as a USB OTG drive, meaning you can hook it up to any camera that supports OTG and use it to backup directly from the camera (for example, an HVX200 or HPX170).
But the Nexto itself cannot be hooked up to an external USB drive to transfer files from the Nexto to the drive.

Make sense?

You connect it either directly to a camera or to your computer.
(and obviously you can plug SD and CF cards directly into it.

From the manual:
"USB OTG" port for USB2.0 device connection to a computer or for USB2.0 host connection to USB devices such as a card reader or camcorder.

That said, there is a reason I never even tried this.
I never got anywhere close to filling 500GB in one day, and I always transferred the footage off to external drives at the end of the day via my laptop.
