I know it's not gonna happen but musical would be SO awesome. I absolutely love musicals. It would be great to see musicians/composers teaming up with filmmakers and getting that happening. I mean you could really only fit good song or maybe two songs in there, a tiny bit of dialogue, but how cool would it be!

I agree! I would love a musical too! I think that would really be fun. Action isn't totally rocking my world right now.....I could probably be swayed though.

Imagine if it was a Musical Horror. That would be amazing. Not only would it most likely be a total new filmmaking style for everyone. But it would also be very interesting. I think a musical alone would be interesting. Something totally new. because you can make a drama have action. So why waste the next fest on being action. Let's go for something new.

It would be cool to score adventure!!!

I've heard some of your work and I think your music is great. As an aspiring film composer myself, I can certainly learn a thing or two by listening to your work and the work of other composers on this site.

Hmmm, Little Shop of Horrors comes to mind when I think of Musical Horror.

I think something less broad would be good. For example, who could make the best action movie using only one character in a single location? Or a horror movie in which at least one person has to be killed within the first 10 seconds, or with a certain weapon or device.
All, good ideas! It's always easier for me to think of something when I have MORE lmiitations.

Seriously, I think I'd like to see a ComedyFest. I've just finished two four minute scripts that I think'll make good shorts. So bring on ComedyFest...

Looks like Action is winning...I'd like to do something crazy like crash my mother's car off a bridge and into a lake or something. Do I automatically get a prize for something like that?

I wouldn't mind Comedy either...

I guess you could put Action/Adventure together, so in that case Action would have more like 12 votes at this point. The reason I separated the two is because of how I viewed the two genres. Action to me is dealing more with big explosions and highway type car chases and adventure would be more along the lines of sword fighting and Indiana Jones type stuff.

Slice ..yeah sci-fi 2 would be fab ..if only to hope for a Bass Cops sequel :)

although Documentary sounds good idea.

Like the music vid idea. Western isnt exactly doing it for me since I am in Japan. Cowboys riding across the Kanto plain with Fuji as the backdrop?
