Next BIG step from HVX200

I've been using the HVX200 for yrs and I was thinking to upgrade to a substantially better model. I looked at some other models and they were better but not So much better to be able to say YES! that's Much better.

Can anyone give me any advice? Less than 20k (body only) and 2/3" chip? It Must have a Wow factor when it's compared to HVX.. Thank you!!

PS: I looked at many models but when I compared content was not very impressed.

There aren't a lot of WOW better options out there at that price. The hpx300 is noticeably better image wise and falls pretty near your target price. Personally though, I think the big ENG footprint is kinda clunky for a camera of that price. If you don't absolutely need to buy NOW you might wait for the removable lens Scarlet - rumored to be arriving later this year

At that price point -- a Varicam 2700 with the half-off trade-in deal would wow you from here to Florida and back.

David, the only thing I need is for someone to say: "Wow that's Much better than the HVX footage" when comparing the two..
