Now that the NEX10 is beginning to appear is anyone aware of whether
a) There's an OLPF for eliminating the moire effects
b) The HDMI is indeed uncompressed and recordable?
I've had a look a sample sample video and i can pick out some sparkly bits that could be a debayer/aliasing issue but it's difficult to judge through compression and the source i was looking at.
It seems like a nice possibility, the sensor seems much nicer than 4/3rds - both in terms of quantitive analysis (dxomark) and also i have to say i've really not seen that many good photos from the 4/3rds cameras compared to the NEX3 and 5. I find the dynamic range and the highlight handling from the GH1 et al below par compared to canons and these NEXs
If HDMI was output uncompressed and the NEX10 had a decent OLPF it makes it an interesting option. You can adapt practically any lens to this E format.
Any ideas?
cheers
