Nex VG20 + Sigma 1.4

Great work. Awesome camera in low light. I tried a rented VG20 once in a dark room with a 50mm f1.8 Canon FD, and the camera did a great job.

Much better than my small chip Panasonic TM900. Maybe I should have saved my pennies for a VG20 :-)

Yeah, very nice looking shots! Bill, I don't know how you sent the VG20 back - such a cool little camera.

Yeah, i sometimes regret not buying one. My wife was ready to let me have $1000 over the Christmas budget for a camcorder, but not $1400 for a used VG20 body :-(

So I ended up with a TM900 and a constant f2.8 zoom for the GH2. The TM900 is a very nice camcorder, and I like it a lot, but I like the flexibility of interchangeable lenses and the large sensor look even more.

I'll probably end up renting the VG20 again when I really need the large sensor look in very low light, since it beats my GH2 in that department.

Cheers,

Bill

I got lucky and got 2 big clients in right after Christmas... so (with my wife's blessing) I was able to get the 20 and a couple of Canon FD lenses...

Now if those clients had come in before Christmas, it might have been another story. Better to be lucky then good as they say!
