Last week I filmed at the Clingendael Park to test out the Glidecam HD-2000 with the NEX-FS100. Lens I used was the E-mount 16mm pancake lens with ultra wide converter. You can watch the resulting video here if you like: NEX-FS100 on the Glidecam HD-2000 - Cl…

A short BTS video, where you can see the FS100 and Glidecam in action, can be seen here: Glidecam HD-2000 with Sony NEX-FS100…

I received the HD-2000 to 'test drive' for a few days and made a review, which I will post later in the appropriate forum. Hope you find the videos useful to watch!

Now that is pretty awesome for such a hand held device! Really like upside shot in your behind the scenes too. Now i want one, lol.

mmmmm i love my glidecam... i use it skiing though which is slightly different but ive walked/jogged/ran with my glide cam before, great results. if you wanna see any of my glide cam videos with skiing, most of my vidoes on my vimeo page i use one. www.vimeo.com/evanheath/videos

ALSO another fun thing is to shoot long lens (24mm+) on a glide cam.

How are you liking the 16mm with converter? Good results?

That glidecam looks amazing btw! Great work.

Thanks Alex! I really like the 16mm with the wide converter. It's my most favorite lens to use on a handheld stabilizer, because it's very lightweight and has auto focus and iris if you need it. The wide converter is one of the best I've ever seen. Especially when taking the price in consideration. I also have a Tokina 12 - 24mm and the two lenses are surprisingly similar in performance.

Hey DerranNL, do you use an extra Manfrotto quick release plate with your Glidecam 2000 and FS100? Or do you just bolt the FS camera directly onto the Glidecam plate?

Hi, I use the Manfrotto (MN-357) Sliding Plate Adapter. Only problem is that you can only use one screw to attach it to the quick release plate of the Glidecam.
