43 rumors says much bigger than 30M and sensor is designed by Pana not Sony. No iBIS, has 4k 4:2:2, full frame readout, MAYBE external 4k raw output, weather seal, about $3k, march release, built in ND, adapter for m43 lenses

Things are sure happening fast. But in thinking it through, although I'm all in for lower noise, higher sensitivity, better codecs, and especially electronic variable ND, I'm not so excited about a return to large body FF and big lenses. As a professional I want fast handling speed, usability, portability.

Built in ND, adaptor for MFT Lenses, and Variable Scan Mapping???

The built in ND is interesting. But I agree with Tom and have no desire to return to big gear.

I should think you don't need to with what you demonstrated in your Boggs Creek film. For anyone who hasn't seen it, reposting the link here.

Sounds like Panasonic is trying to catch up the the new Nikon Z6, or one up BM’s new Pocket Cinema Camera 4K.
Cheers

Wonder if this will be an 8K test bed for the Olympics. Perhaps limited to 5 or 10 minutes @ 8K? If so there will be no competition to an 8K full frame hybred camera. So what if you have to buy Leica lenses;)
