great job. The camera movements in the beginning were well done. It looks like a decent sized budget (How much did it cost to rent that junkyard equipment?) I'm looking forward to seeing the completed project.

Looks great!
Did you use the stock lens?

Yeah, and we had a matte box with about 6 random ND filters.

Budget was 2500, we got the junkyard for free and wrote it in once we found out we could use it.

I mean... it was kinda good..

but I do believe that I know of someone with a great deal more talent...

I think you know him as "Jordan"... or maybe his more formal name... G.O.D.

I love the car shot being lifted up to reveal money... Also I noticed you were using monopoly money for transactions.. Very nice.. LOL just kidding.. I am from America where it is only green...

You had some really nice shots in there... good work on the night shots as well...

Jordan aka God is someone I can only hope to work with some day.

He is a deity for filmmakers everywhere.

JWALKER...*sniff*

And yah, the Monopoly money was cheaper than real US money...so I figured I'd use it...

Although not by much anymore...mwahha.

nice video. Clean well thought out shots. But whats the deal with the guy in the car at the end. Looks kind of gay. Where's the hot chick groupies?

Heh...
The fact that we could only get a two seater changes the ending a bit. In the treatment, the bass player and drummer pull up in the new car and he jumps into the back seat where a new guitar is sitting.

It's supposed to be like:

Dude sells guitar to pawn shop, gets money.
Dudes sell their car to junkyard, gets money.
Broke asses watch some kid buying his guitar...the kid with the same dreams that he had when he was younger, until realizing eventually that their too old to play (this is subtext, not really implied, you're just supposed to know that these guys need money and are getting rid of their stuff)
Other broke asses watch their car get destroyed...same thing...

THEN AT THE END, BAM! Not only are they not broke asses, but they are bling-blinging. Nice car, nice guitar...they just were getting rid of their old stuff because they don't need it anymore. They got nice stuff.

Cheesy? Yes.
