Is this true?

Crap. I thought I was being so smart getting a new one for 950.

So it is impossible?

Sorry I have been crawling all over this site but couldn't find the right thread. The search engine produces every GH1 thread.

Yes, I am a newbie, and I know nothing.

If somebody could point me in the direction of the correct thread, or a link to how to hack the new cameras, I will be forever in your debt... I know, I am still in denial.

Should be some hackable used ones on eBay, once the GH2 finally comes out. I'm going to eBay both my hackable and unhackable GH1's for GH2's.
