Newegg?

Hey,

Im getting ready to buy a dvx100b and I saw that they renewed the rebate. I was thinking about buying from Newegg (they are about $100 cheaper than bandh right now) and I was wondering if I would be eligible for the rebate/dvx book. I know that they arent an authorized dealer but they seem to have a good rep. Or if anybody could recommend another place that would be great too.

yes. I bought it from newegg. came quickly (i've ordered several things off BandH, there processing is slow) and I got the book/rebate/magic bullet.
 
It's not *confirmed* b/c they are not an authorized dealer, so there is no guarantee that you will receive the warranty and rebate items.

That said, most people that have posted here about buying from newegg have said that they received an authorized product that ended up being eligible for warranty, etc.

So long as newegg continues to get their stock from where they are apparently getting it, you *could* be ok. But, there is no guarantee unless you buy from an authorized dealer.

just buy newegg. i got it. and when I bought it, they were listed as authorized. I don't knowwhy it would change.
 
FYI- looks like B+H isn't stocking the NTSC DVX anymore, seems to be a special order item with a 1-2 week wait on delivery. I just ordered a PAL DVX100B from B+H a few hours ago, and I'm wondering now if it's eligible for any rebates or goodies that weren't advertised. I already purchased Barry's book and dvd almost a year ago, but some free software would be great! And the PAL model only comes with a 90 day warranty, but what's the worst that could happen?
