I've had the HVX200 for about a year now and am finally getting around to actually shooting. I've got 2 P2 cards (16GB & 32GB), an older PowerBook G4 with the P2/PCMCIA slot and access to a new MacBook Pro with FCP and the express card slot.
I may be able to get a Panasonic P2 reader for under $500 (great deal I think?). Do I drop the coin on that reader or just get the Duel Adapter that goes from PCMCIA to Express and use the new Macbook Pro?
And also, is there anything I should look out for when buying a used P2 card reader if it is recommended to go down that road?
