I've been using the "Log & Transfer" option, so easy. However, is this the best way to do so? (to maintain highest quality image) If not, what is the best way step by step to download files? Thank you in advance.
I'd say log and transfer is probably the best - you can do it other ways, a lot of people swear by 5D to RGB. Either way you're best off transcoding to ProRes for FCP
