Greetings everybody. I'm new to this forum, so please be gentle.

I am curious if the Dvx 100b, might be a toy I could work with. I am mainly interested in quality music taping, so this recorder has got my attention. I have great microphones for the XLR, so that would be a no-brainer. My concern is: just how hard would it be to shoot and transfer to a dvd, with only minimal editing, ie: deleting unwanted scenes.

Thanks!

I just changed to Vista.......I'm wondering what programs would work best with transferring to DVD. I have adobe elements, but haven't tried the video portion as of yet.

By the by......I enjoyed watching your video clips. :)

my opinion, the easiest is IDVD... its an apple program. I never had the chance to work with a PC while video editing or making DVDs. these days i'm pretty sure any DVD authoring program is simple to use. in regards to the DVX... (and i'm sure everyone will agree) it's the BEST standard definition video camera in existence. I'm sure you'll love it.
