hi folks, i've been seriously considering buying a new dvx soon (hard to find 2nd hand on ebayuk), i bought a pd150 on ebay and returned it cos it was faulty, and i have a hv30 but it just doesn't float my boat, its not a very inspiring camcorder personally. But anyway my question is can i get a good 'video' like image from the dvx? Right now I'm liking that 'real' video / soap opera look that you get from a pd150. But just lately i'm considering the dvx again cos i think it may have more visual options and longevity. Its also a darn sexy camera too. If i bought the dvx then i would have more options to experiment with the image, it could broaden my visual palette in the long run. Also i have a g5 mac with FCE and imovie so i cant use 24f, is there a relatively cheap NLE i could pick up for a pc laptop if i wanted to try 24f? Thanks a lot.
