newbie question, auto iris setting?.

Hey everyone!

This is my first post. I've learned alot from reading you all up until now. I have a DXX100a. I can't for the life of me figure out what the auto iris setting choices are for in scene setting menus. I can't see a difference no matter what number I set it to. Please enlighten me. Also, was it ever conluded and agreed to by everyone thet the asa rating on the dvx is 640?

I do not know the EXACT stops we're talking about but the Auto Iris Setting can be set to either Underexpose or Overexpose (hence the -3 or 3 etc).

Of course this is when you are actually in Auto Iris mode.
