Newbie - first try with the DVX

I have been at this lark for 2 weeks from scratch (so please be gentle with me). This is my first go with the DVX and Vegas - both of which I am quite delighted with.

I'm learning on the job by trying to come up micro-stories (like ads) to learn how each factor plays its part and all on my own here so you'll have to put up with my ugly mug.

It looks very good. You would never know you have only been at it for two weeks.

The story, I didn't quite understand, but it looked very good.

Okay Estaban... Give us a breakdown of what the story is about. The footage is good, but I don't get what the story is about.

No offense, it was 1 hour to shoot, 3 hours to edit & add the sound effects (as it was recorded with no sound, which gives me more control) and 2 weeks to read a lot on this forum, the Panasonic manual and twiddle the switches.

Si amigo, sin problemas.

It is an Internet courier guy that rings the bell then does a runner - as happened to me when my lamps were not delivered last week. I watched him drive away.

I have a lot to learn but I am happy the footage came out sort of ok :( Maybe I should do a sequel?
