New Wedding Trailer

i only posted for what i thought was a funny "big bump!!".

maybe the slow paced footage should not be in slow motion, and it's not too smooth, maybe give it more shutter time, and most of the footage was too dark and a bit too much saturtion with the darker image is not really the best choice, maybe setting and planning some footage for key moments and some b roll, and planning the scenes and lighting before recording, maybe a bit of diversity and using some kind of linear story editing style might work. maybe focusing on something intriguing or have some composition, maybe framing not so handsome people in a more wider way or from a different angle, maybe not showing big weird looking fingernails with the subject that you want to film, i hope i didn't miss anything. balancing the colors, only having colors that compliment each other in a shot can improve the overall quality, planing and mixing different shots with different framing and not having the same fov.
maybe having more natural skin tones, instead or dark orange people, lighting the actual people instead of having nicely lit background with people in the dark. framing the shots instead of zooming in and out Violently. was there a head popping in front of the only scene were there was actual talk where the shot was not taken at a good angle.maybe filming with more than one camera can be beneficial sometimes.

hope this helps.

Thanks for the idea's, next time I'll take along a lighting supervisor, a focus assistant, a director, basically a Holywood style crew and some how work out how I can rent more gear, a lighting kit, and feed and pay all the crew on a $1000 budget and not really take anything for myself!

Maybe i'm in the wrong game!

look at it this way,

at the other end of the spectrum, someone sold a coupe a different "wedding video experience"

"CITY OF LAKES" The Official Trailer
by pacific pictures

i have seen this trailer in the recent episode 2 of the zacuto dslr shootout.

Some nice flow and I like the titles quite a lot. It does seem like your image is both underexposed and also your contrast seems too strong... the blacks seems crushed a lot more than I would say is warranted. It was probably failry overcast so I'm sure it was limiting, but I'd say to push the exposure a lot more since it's a happy time/wedding. The poster frame is also kind of gnarly looking.. Those are some messed up looking fingers and nails at that focal lenght... doesn't look very flattering.
