New Wedding Demo

Re: New Wedding Demo

Good job. Liked the imagery. Is any of it color corrected or all raw footage? You should put your logo/contact info on the end.

Re: New Wedding Demo

No color correction... all raw footage. Some of it needs to be tweeked, though. I white balance like crazy, so I try to avoid color correction issues.

Re: New Wedding Demo

the black and white at beginning and ending looks classy. If this is a demo, you could add a wider variety of stuff to it, so people know that you can film more than just outdoor scenes...show some of the ceremony, some of the dancing, etc. and yes, it would be good to put your name at the end.

I'm putting one of these together myself...hopefully i'll be able to get some tips here too once it's ready to post.

Re: New Wedding Demo

Looks pretty good man. I think you should try to put a wider variety of shots in there though. Alot of the shots looked the same composition wise. Good Work and good luck.

Re: New Wedding Demo

Overall, pretty nice!

It had a nice, soft, pretty sound and feel to it. Good for the ladies, but I'm not sure it would hold the attention of some grooms.

one comment-

I felt like many of the shots were well composed, however, they looked posed.

I always ask my prospective clients why they are looking for in a photographer..and they almost everyone says, PHOTOJOURNALISTIC.

an overused buzz word they get from the bridal mags...nevertheless, very in demand.

my favorite shot was the one where she looks up from the mirror and it is a beautiful, genuine smile.

Re: New Wedding Demo

Most of the stuff I shoot is 24p. I shoot 60i when lighting is crap, or when it's sports action coverage.

Re: New Wedding Demo

I would cut it down a little, others have commented asking for more variety of shots, but I think the shot variety is there, just too many extraneous similar shots.
