Here is a site for showing your videos that you guys might find useful. http://www.divx.com/
Hi everybody, I posted this here because it seemed the most logical site for this subject. Mods if there is another site here that is more appropriate, feel free to move it there. I'm impressed with the quality of the videos on the Divx site and the quality of the Divx program. Though it is new to me it isn't as new as I thought. You can watch my slightly controversial short by clicking on the link below and after you register and download the Divx player, the Dr. Divx converter for your videos and the basic program, you can watch any of the videos, and they have some hot videos there. To use the site you must download the free programs and register. The basic program, the player and the Dr. Divx program that converts your videos to the Divx program are free, and the player is much bigger and clearer than youtube and all the rest I've seen. It has a nice feature that lets you download any video there with one click on the download tab to the Divx player on your computer. Very slick. It's mostly amine, some semi-nude artistic videos, and music videos, but what a great picture and sound it provides. I posted Making Holy War, which is a teaser for the film Holy War and the start of a documentary on the trials and tribulations of filming an indie film. This short is a bit of a ballsy parody (As one guy on youtube put it.) on all the terrorist videos that Islamic fundamentalists terrorists have put out lately. Hope they have a sense of humor, but I doubt it. Here is the link, enjoy. And remember my video is a parody, so don't take it so seriously. And yes, it needs better production values, I'm working on it, but money is tight right now, and good DP and AD as well as cast and crew are not cheap.
