Hallo to everybody! Long time away from here...i think that my english get worse!
Here is my new clip, shot with one 5D and two 301 for the slowmotion.Shot entirely in studio, tracked in PFTrack and Mocha and the final compositing is done in After Effects. The video is on MTV Hits Italy! I'm very happy of that!

Looks good. The 5D Footage is really clean. Your slo-mo clips from the 301 looks like heavy color treatment was done.

Hi,
It's well done. I like the quality of the video and editing. May i know what plugin or tools did you use for slow motion? I am in the edge of purchasing Twixtor. I shoot with 5D Mark II 30 fps and need slow motion to be done. Cinema Tools / Motion & FCP speed change doesn't give me the good result. Twixtor is very expensive too. Is there any other solution are you aware of?
Thanks!

Thank you so much for your comment!
I've made the slowmotion with the HPX301,720p at 60fps. Twixtor is a really good plugin but you have to consider that you may have problems with very fast shots due to the motion blur. I think that if you want a super slow motion you have to shot at 50fps or 60fps and then apply Twixtor on the footage. The results are incredible...really close to a Phantom footage! Or you can use a 7D to shot slow motion and have a color profile that match the 5D perfectly...well,is better a 60D! The 7D is a super HOT DSLR! The temperature rises too high in short periods of time!

Hi,
Thanks for your response. Actually my question was which plugin or tool you have used to create a slow motion? Did you just changed the speed from 60fps to 24fps using motion optical flow, or fcp speed? or any other plugin?

I shot my video with 5D 30fps and 7D 60fps. I am planning to use my 7D footage for slow motion. thanks!

I've only change the playback of the clip in After Effects from 60fps to 25fps!
You can do it with the 7D footage changed from 60fps to 24fps. The slow motion is very smooth! I like it:thumbsup:
