New Video

Here's my honest opinion - the cinematography is very good... from the perspective of someone who is not especially passionate about the subject matter of skating or biking (that's me), nor do I know where Redditch is so there's no connection there either... the trailer moves slower than my liking. The individual shots are held too long... they're great shots but I found myself wanting to fastforward the clips. Don't take this wrong because it's just my opinion and I'm not really an authority to take seriously, but it's just how I honestly felt while viewing it. It did not make me eager to see the documentary and I will watch documentaries that I'm not necessarily passionate about the subject matter. Take my opinion with a grain of salt and a double shot of tequila. I did find the shots very well composed and would certainly be interested in seeing more of your stuff.

The time lapse shots are fun, but I agree with Buck. Your audience is the MTV audience and they are used to a faster pace with snappier cuts.

Looks good though, just re-edit.

Thanks both for the replies. Very honest and critical which i like. The footage shot will be an introduction, i didnt want it fast pace, because the documentary is about a build of an indoor park. Its an appeal to the council i need to show more slower more correct info. But i do need to snap up the edit.
which i agree, this for me was more of a mere cinematography test footage, which some will be used in the final edit.

Thanks for your kind words :) and honest feedback. Hope everything is well with you all.

Be great to view some of your projects :)

Thanks

Ollie
