Infinity looks good. But remember that you also have to factor in the price of a 2/3" HD lens.

To be honest, if I were to spend this much (I can't; I don't even think I could afford it if I sold everything I owned and took out a loan), I'd just get a Grass Valley infinity.

Well, I'm sure you'd want to wait until they had the 24P option implemented. And with glass, the camera's probably going to price out much more than the F330, at something like $30K. EDIT: Oh, I forgot, this was a thread about the F350. Yeah, both will price out at over $30K with glass. In that case, I'd rather have the Panasonic HVX-like, shoulder-mount, 2/3" camera coming out later this year (which I'm guessing will be in the F350 price range).

Also, while 2/3'' CCDs admittedly doesn't offer the depth of focus most people want, It doesn't come that far away. Most DPs shoot 35mm at f4 as a starting point. If you shoot with a 2/3'' sensor at f2, you're already there and most good lenses should go this wide until super telephoto, at which point you've already got all the DoF you want anyhow.

I shoot with 2/3" cameras everyday (BVW400A/BVW600/HDWF900) and even those don't offer shallow enough depth-of-field for me by a long shot. I'm always struggling like hell to throw my background out of focus at f/wide-open.

I'd much rather have an Infinity without an adapter than a Sony with one. At least once they get 24p on the Infinity.

Why would you want the 2/3" adapter? Unless you already owned a lot of 2/3" glass, there's no benefit (unless you plan to buy a 2/3" camera later).
