Hey guys, check out this awesome film we've been working on with the dvx called GAME OVER. I think we did a really good job of making the trailer concise and yet getting enough of the concept out to tantalize and tease. One thing thats so great about it is that it is filmed really well (by me) and there is some great performances by Peter Murphy(me), Jon Bones, Brian Weiland, Derek McGowan, Richard Stumetz, Conor Anderson, Jessica Dung, and many more! Without further adieu, I present our masterpiece....Game Over!!!

Pete let me start the ball rolling...brace yourself.
Its too long.
In the begining I thought this was for real...and then it put me off...young actors...melodramatic acting....I did'nt realize this was a comedy...I hope it is...or I may be in big trouble here...hehe...you need to start with the jokes sooner otherwise people wont wait to get to the best bits...IMOP
The lightings spot on...mostly...It looks good...You do have some funny moments...the punch is funny...as are the other actions...not funny ho ho..but funny hehe...I defo see where your comming from...Dont over sell yourself, people will take it for arrogance...under selling is the way to go in comedy...then people respect you if it's any good.
Cut it down, make it snappy...like the hair...
Pete, if it's not a comedy...boy what can I say!
Good stunt driving...I bet a few people got a shock in the neighbourhood.
Good work fella.

well... I liked the disney logo at the end.
too long for a trailer, or is it the full movie as joking ?

Ulisses

I really enjoyed the sound effects(punching etc) that you added. I thought the acting was a bit over the top and unless this was a comedy, subpar. The end of the trailer was better at getting me interested in seeing the movie than all of the early footage. The end seemed to suggest that the movie had a comedic element that I missed in the earlier footage. Some parts of the trailer looked a little too dv for my tastes(the scene with the girl and when the guy breaks the gun). Also you broke the 180 rule with the guys on the stairs outside. It would have been nice to included some older characters. All in all you had some very nice shots and it looked like you had a lot of fun with it.

The plot, i was a little confused... but if it is a comedy like people are saying, i guess its cool to have an off the wall story...

technical i think it was very good... overall i had a nice look and feel... i liked the voice, very realistic movie trailer... although, like others said. for that style trailer, with the voice, it needs to be short and sweet..

good job.

This was obviously a spoof of over the top action films and the way they're advertised to us. If there's a real film behind this I'll be surprised.

Cinematography looked decent except for some underexposed sections. Editing really needs work, but I like the idea of making fun of bad, mindless hollywood action films. This would have more impact if it was 1 minute in length. Looked like you had fun shooting it. Especially liked the over the top trampoline stuff. Pretty campy.

I can appreciate the amount of time and effort that went into this video, it looked good, but it was waaaaaaaay too long and was filled with the same stuff over and over again. And I can understand using friends in videos, but surely you must know an adult or someone over 30 who can make a cameo. Even if it's just for fun.

You put a lot of work into the piece, it shows.

What the hell did I just watch?

It was sort of cool, but I have no idea what it's about. It was a little long though.

Wow, thanks for the comments guys. I actually made this a year or two ago with my friends, and I decided to watch it again, then thought it would be fun to post it. I was being sarcastic about how great I thought it was, and storyteller got me, there is no real movie. I have wanted to re-edit this for a while, but the footage is off my computer and I'm not too excited about the concept of starting from scratch for a joke. Anyways, thanks again...maybe I'll have something less confusing to show you guys soon.
