New to the GH13 Scene

Hello all,

I've just recently purchased my first GH1 and successfully managed to hack it. I am currently running the 100mbps Max Latitude Patch and and I noticed that there is a variety of patches and each one has its own purpose. I'm not entirely tech savy and was wondering if someone could explain what the purpose of each patch is and how it would be utilized depending on the scene being shot. Thank you in advance.

You'll have noticed the guy who's done a significant amount of work on tweaking patches for the GH13 is known as lpowell - on his post signature you should see links to all the patches. They'll all have a brief description of the kind of scenario they're designed for, and the risk factor involved - I wouldn't use the max latitude patch you're using for something I couldn't go back and re-shoot (a one-off event of some sort, or an interview for example). In instances like this, I'd use the 75Mbps patch, which I've found bulletproof. All the info you need is in the links..
