Hello. I'm primarily a Engineer/producer/musician based in So. Cal (oceanside). I am the lead AE at a nice recording studio there.

I've wrangled a deal with a large publishing company to do an instructional DVD that will deal with music production. I've got the green light on the project and will be financing out of pocket in order to hold on to the back end of the project. It will likely be a multiple title deal.

I'm doing this in conjunction with another artist/musician that has a formidable resume' in the instructional vid market. Whoever does my project will most likely do his, as he is guiding my project into the publisher as the Exec producer.

So, what I'm looking for is to establish a working relationship with a small production crew. Folks that own their gear ( for the most part) and are creative on the editing side of things. There is potentially a slew of projects that can stem from this, and I'd like to build an alliance that would give me the confidence to pitch the projects.

Yes, there is budget. Very small, but the possibilities and level of exposure are huge for an up and coming company.
What I DON'T want is different guys showing up to film than the day before .... I want someone that when they say they can deliver.... can.

This is a great opportunity, and I'd be happy to talk more on the phone if anyone is interested.
Two of the projects are in PRE production/ scripting phase right now. We're hoping for a July release.
Thanks for your interest,

Craig, my bad, missed the c on the cut and paste process. I sent you a private message and an email to your hotmail address.

I do some editing but would not exactly call myself an editor yet. However I do work with someone that is much more proficient in that end.

I'd be happy to meet with you to discuss your project.

Michael
