Is there a way to convert all clips shot on a card to a certain format? (Quicktime HD or SD or WMV or MP4?) or do I have to import all the clips into Final Cut first? I also would like to add a watermark like I would in Compressor?

I haven't done anything with AVCHD yet but am looking for a camera with the quickest workflow from camera to Quicktime or WMV with a watermark.

I'm not certain about a watermark.

I think FCP is the best way to transcode. Toast is another option though.
