new surfing documentary

if you have time, you might enojoy the surfing documentary, "State Of Mind" that i produced, wrote, shot, and edited for the pbs station i work for.

it was shot on a dvx100a in 24p, and edited on FCP Studio.

Really cool title effect, the way it sits below the foam. I'm not a surfer, but worked with SurfGuru.com for some time, and met a bunch of these Florida legends. Kelly Slater's brother even goes to my wife's church.

Overall, I found it very entertaining. Good job!

I thought you did a great job on this, Cflamm! The writing was really well done and I thought the editing is what made it. Those composite shots must have taken a long time. How did you do them? Photoshop and an animation program?
The story flowed very well - it was a good mixture of personal and historical information. Really held my interest.

If any of you haven't seen this yet, it's well worth checking out. If you want to make a good documentary, follow this guy's lead. This is how you do it!
