FS7: New Speedbooster EF/E T Ultra Black?

Also worth noting that the recent 0.41 FW update for the speed booster fixes most of the quirks people have experienced thus far with the fs7. I loaded it last night and now (in green mode) have fast response from the iris, with no flicker. Only down side to green mode is you don't get focal distance or zoom percentage indicators in your vf, which was occasionally useful. Pretty much fixed now though. Still curious what the T is! Great information to know Jason thanks. I don't think I can wait so long before using my Canon Lenses so I'll just get the Ultra now and maybe get the standard adaptor T when it's out if it makes a difference in the future. Since most of the quirks have been ironed out.

Anyone have any information on this? What the T stands for? Wondering if I should hold off and wait if there is better compatibility with the FS7?[/QUOTE]

On film lenses, t stand for "transmission" while f stands for "focal". Lots of lenses had both markings because they don't match.
The calibrstion for a T-stop comes from the actual lens and is calibrated individually while f stops are based on the focal aspects of the lens. So if you had two 25-250 zooms and wanted exact matched exposure, you would used t stops.
With some of my 16mm zooms, there was almost a stop difference between the t stop and the f stop, with the f stop marked faster.
Most all cinema lens are t stops and don't even use the f stops at all.
Im wondering if this new Metsbones is calibrated in T stops. My Metabones Speed booster doesn't even have f stop markings. Just an abertrary 1-10. Can't see the markings anyway because they are on top instead of on the side like real lenses.

Just a guess...but seems the new feature is simply the black flocking their applying to the interiors of the SpeedBoosters.
