I haven't seen a thread about the new Sound Devices announcement yet. Any speculation on what the device could be? Or what you would like it to be?

You didn't do well with Xmas when you were a kid, did you? Wait until tomorrow, they none of us need to speculate about it at all.

True, no trouble waiting. Curious if any info was leaked that everyone else knew about it. That's all.

There's a thread like this over at JW Sound Group also. And no information on it either; even the connected pros are in the dark. Sorry. SD seems to be keeping the lid on.

Cool, thanks for the tip. Looking forward to it.

Good chance it's something of that sort. Probably along the lines of a zaxcom maxx.
Doubtful there would be a wireless attached though being that they have never been in the wireless game.
I'm bummed because I have pretty much bought every new SD product released immediately after it hits the streets..
first time in awhile I'm gonna have to pass. (unless it's not too much more than what I could sell off my 302 for!!)

Video is playing live now on their site.
Here is the Trew Audio roll out. What surprises me is the price at around 3k. I still love me the LED meters on the 302.

I know what you mean about the LED. Where you expecting it to be higher in price?

Close though
Clever marketing, SD got the others out first, then the 633 arrives with 10 tracks at $3 grand .. and 2.6lbs for the on long hot days.
