Checking the manual, you power the IF Box via XLR (4 pin). It's at the bottom of it :)
 
Awesome, yeah spoke with him via instagram last night. the f23 and all initial parts are ordered and paid for, WooHoo! Just waiting for them to arrive now, should be less than a week. :)

Seeing there's some action around here at the moment with Mike getting his own F23, I thought I'd post some footage examples from my camera that I've shot over the past few months.

First up is some off the cuff, last minute footage for a little music video I put together.
The intention was to just grab little snippets and vignettes of the band playing at a festival that could be used amongst the other material in the clip.
Probably shouldn't have been operating a camera at that time of the weekend, but that's life.
Really needed the cinesaddle, couldn't get it.


Most shots were at +3dB gain. Maybe one or two at +6dB. HD-EC HJ21 lens.
A custom Slog1 to 709 LC LUT is applied.
AJA Lut Box converting PsF to Progressive for BM Video Assist at ProRes HQ.

More to come, just need to put together some short reels of it.

Look forward to testing this thing in situations where a DSLR might do poorly, such as strobes and cheap dimming/flickering LED cans.

Awesome stuff man! I wont be able to get in the field with my F23 for a few more weeks as i need to buy a few more things to make that happen properly but i plan to start doing some private tests in my study with the camera hooked dual link into my mac pro. I wanna see how these images look :D
