Just got this from Sonnett, it may make the QIO a tad more attractive, Time will tell.

What will Sonnet show at IBC:
New QIO with different interfaces and QIO with PC compatibility at the Sonnet booth G.03 Hall 7
And a few other secret products - in total we are planning to introduce 5 new products :)

I haven't purchased a Qio, because by the time they ship downunder they are at well over $1500 Australian dollars that is just too much for me, and I also haven't put-out for the Single Panasonic USB reader "AJ-PCD2" because it's priced at $570 Australian, and I believe both readers are well over priced and not to a P2 Transfer performance level that justifies that level of expenditure.
The Pana USB reader should have had Two slots ( a bent / broken pin in one slot would rendered it useless) and it should have been made of a more sturdy material.

I Just keep using my camera/s and an old windows lappy for transfers is my solution to the P2 transfer dillema..
